Full of specification beyond expectations of a 'middleweight' the TRACER 9 GT packs a real punch. New bodywork and a tall, electrically adjustable, windscreen all add to the comfort and adaptability of the GT, with even more space to accommodate a pillion and rider, who has the benefit of a two-step adjustable saddle. As the name suggests, the TRACER 9 GT has what it takes to take on big journeys – but above all it has been designed to be a fun and engaging motorcycle.
Designed to take on the roads of life, the TRACER 9 GT is packed with clever engineering and design solutions to ensure the best possible riding experience. Lightweight wheels, constructed using Yamaha's SpinForge process and shod with bespoke Bridgestone tyres, contribute to a light and agile machine, beautifully matched to the playful three-cylinder crossplane engine and lean-sensitive electronic rider aids.
Yamaha's Y-AMT transmission allows easy riding allowing the bike to control the gears through smooth gear changes as you rise in speed without losing the thrill of the ride due to the abilitiy of the rider being able to take control of the transmission with manual gear shifting to gain the most out of each gear via the paddle shift technology located underneath the left handbar.
